Alternate Ending Piece - Well Give the Man a Hand!

Been meaning to put this piece up that i had done for the Silver Screen Society's Alternate Ending show at the Bottleneck Gallery in NYC.

Anyway here's my take on an alternate ending for Robocop while instead of trying to kill each other, Clarence decides to throw Robo a surprise party at the old steel mill instead.

Initially the plan was to make this all in the form of pixel art kind of like aping the arcade game released at the time but this changed after finishing the "I'd buy that for a Dollar' guy as it would take some time to make and that i'm still a bit new to the pixel art scene.

Personally I think that going in the direction above has actually worked better with its light hearted and playful nature.

Alternate Ending Show

Here's an up and coming show that I'm involved with which starts next month (Dec 14th) at the Bottleneck Gallery in NYC.

teaming up with the good folks at Silver Screen Society the show focuses on creating Alternate Endings to myriad of popular films, from classics to cult status films this show should be one not to miss.

I'll post my contribution to the show once the show is up and running.

Tee Design for Made in the Now

I've designed a Tee for the good folks at Made in the Now which pits designers/illustrators to design a T shirt based around the popular current events that happened in the news that week.

This T shirt is only available for limited time, 7 days to be exact so get in there.

And now, its mario's turn

Just as with the zelda items piece, this is based around the items/enemies featured in the mario universe.

(update March 2017) it's been over a year since these wallpapers were removed from my website, seems like it was not that long ago when I made this piece back in 2012 which gave it a run of about 4 years of being available to adorn numerous desktop and smart phone screens as a nice background.

I'm glad that there were people who enjoyed using these wallpapers as their desktop/phone backgrounds and I appreciate that.

Though these wallpapers are never coming back, mostly due to their age but also (and largely) due to the people who thought it was a good idea to steal my work and sell it on whatever product they thought would make a quick buck.

All in all, it had a good run and if you are still using my wallpaper as your desktop/phone background I hope you still enjoy it.
