The Hirsute Ranger

a little something you can get screen printed live at Loop this weekend.

I think it will be available in a different colour, I just designed it black and basically told the guys to go nuts on the colour front but i trust 'em.

mass in motion

this started like as an idea for a client that wasn't picked but i thought i'd take it further.

there's a few more from that commission which i am gong to take further.

but anyway, this piece has been make into a print and is going to be auctioned in Edinburgh for a good cause.

more can be found out on the Aartvark blog on when the auction is, should be a fun night.

pumps proto 88

here's something fun which was done for Art & Sole.

The TOY posse had to create their favourite pair of Sneakers. I went with the reebok pump as i wanted something that had a bit of a novelty to it. After some more searching, i based this piece on the proto pumps which featured a dial instead which looked more interesting to me anyway.

then i got carried away and made a swamp thing monster wearing them.

more can be seen on the art & sole blog

it also got a good write up on CR

illostribute: a tribute to David Klein

Here's my contribute to the latest illostribute tribute.

This time its the fantastic works of David Klein.

I was really drawn in to the wealth of expressive and varied travel posters that Klein had produced in his lifetime. I was debating on whether to recreate the rome one which focused more on buildings or the greece one which all the mythos captured so colourfully.

well i ended up doing the image above. had a really good time trying to capture the essence of Klein's piece.

Some work from Hylozoism exhibition

The Hylozoism show is coming to an end (ends this week on the 27th so there's still time to see the works of both Jake Blanchard and myself) so here are a few pieces which appeared in the show.
