Guillermo Del Toro Art Show - The Faun's Fable

Here's my piece for the Guillermo Del Toro Art show currently being held at Gallery 1988 (West) as promised.

This piece is based around the Film Pan's Labyrinth and modelled after combining the characters with an hour glass depicting two worlds with the conflict amongst the rebels on top and the other fantasy world on the bottom.

This illustration is available to buy from Gallery 1998's website in teh form of a print on wood and is one of a kind.

inkygoodness Beermat Character

Seems like this was done ages ago but what you see above is a lino print that i had made for inkygoodness' beermat character exhibition which was held in London not too long ago.

The general idea involved here was to produce the work onto a beermat which did have some challenges due to its scale.

But because of this using a more hands on approach seemed to be the best COA and so when with a combination of using paint, a lino print and some posca pens for added effect.

Great fun and its got me thinking about maybe doing some more hands on type of work to mix things up a bit.

Alternate Ending Show

Here's an up and coming show that I'm involved with which starts next month (Dec 14th) at the Bottleneck Gallery in NYC.

teaming up with the good folks at Silver Screen Society the show focuses on creating Alternate Endings to myriad of popular films, from classics to cult status films this show should be one not to miss.

I'll post my contribution to the show once the show is up and running.
